2020 wasn't the year everyone has planned at all, especially for my wedding couples. Nothing ruins your wedding plans quite like a worldwide pandemic and subsequent national lockdown - and there was me thinking that family dynamics was the biggest stress for most couples planning a wedding.
'Things to do' over the summer became a very concise list, so I started offering pre-wedding shoots to my couples who were unable to get married. Millie and Adam were one of my lovely couples who opted for an engagement style shoot. It was a perfect opportunity for them to practice before the big day and become more relaxed in front of the camera.
Millie and Adam suggested the quaint seaside village of Blue Anchor, a sand and shingle beach near Watchet in Somerset, as their shoot location. I adore the beach, so despite the recent stormy September weather, I was more than excited. Blue Anchor has a long dreamy beach curving all the way around to Minehead, Somerset. The current restrictions ensured there wasn't a tourist in sight - a perfect location for a photoshoot.
