A BIT ABOUT ME
I have been a capturing weddings for over 16 years, and during this time I have shot 600+ weddings across the South West, Bristol, and the Cotswolds.
I often get told I bring a calming energy to what can be an overwhelming whirlwind of a day. I have experienced shy couples, fun couples, and party all night couples! I've learned to find your comfort zone and create a gallery of images that is unique to you and your day. I've shot so many incredible venues from castles, manor houses, farms, barns, tipi's, marquees, temples, town halls, and even a lighthouse, not to mention heatwaves and rain storms. No amount of AI or social media followers can buy all that I have experienced over the years.
BEHIND THE LENS
When I'm not a professional wedding guest, aka photographer. I love long walks with my dog, coffee, house plants, and I'm a big foodie too. I'm married to my partner of 10+ years and we have a two year old boy, Leo, who is my world.
When I'm not nursing my obsession with house plants, I'm enjoying my dream job as a photographer. Every weekend I laugh, cry, and capture some incredibly precious moments.
I got married in 2022, so now I am qualified both sides of the camera, right? Jokes aside, our wedding really did give me a whole new perspective when it comes to what I do and how a relaxed photographer really elevates your photography experience. I felt like I missed so much! It wasn't until we received our photos that I realised how much I had forgotten too and quite how special my job is.
MY STYLE
Thoughtfully documentary with an editorial flair.
To me, weddings are all about people, emotions, and capturing those special moments. I can help pose you to ensure you look elegant and natural without looking awkward or forced. Your couple portraits will be a mix of fun "omg we just got married!" and timeless romantic reportage. The rest of the day I shoot in a documentary style capturing those emotional and comical candid moments as they unfold naturally. That said, I love to give you subtle direction during the day to ensure you look incredible!
Your wedding day is a very special milestone in your life. It's not just a formality; it is an experience like no other. To me, professional wedding photography and film isn't just about taking a good photo, it's ensuring you enjoy your day and each moment feels organic and not staged. It's about building relationships over emails and social media to create confidence and trust.
AVAILABILITY
I only shoot a limited number of weddings per year to ensure quality. Unfortunately, this does mean I become booked up very quickly. However, I still have some availability 2027 and now taking bookings for 2028.
