Wow, is all I can say! It rarely snows here in the UK and when it does you cannot go anywhere to do anything; especially not a maternity shoot, right? ...
I was 'snowed in' during the first week of March and unlike everyone else I didn't have the day off work! One of the only pitfalls of working from home.
I couldn't help but think how amazing it would be to do a snowy winter themed photo-shoot in England. However, none of my couples would have been able to trek to our little town for a shoot, so I thought about my neighbours. I messaged one of our closest neighbours, Whitney, and said: "wouldn't it be amazing to do a maternity shoot in the snow!". I was surprised by her keen response, and we quickly started Googling ideas!
Before you know it we were outside! Luckily it wasn't as cold as the previous few days and the snow had stopped falling. We didn't have to go far as we live right next a wooded area coating in white snow.
