Karen and David contacted me shortly after getting engaged to arrange a pre-wedding shoot to celebrate before returning home to Canada. We agreed that Castle Combe would be a perfect location for a Winter style couple shoot.
The quintessentially English village of Castle Combe, set in the Cotswolds, is often a hot spot for photoshoots and film sets. Castle Combe village and Manor House have been on my location wishlist for quite some time - you'll soon see why!
Shooting in the rain can be a challenge when all your camera gear is getting wet, and you're conscious of everyone getting soaked, but the light drizzle reminded me of the romantic scenes featured in the film, The Notebook.
I adore the photos from this shoot so much that I've booked my own engagement shoot at Castle Combe too!
Engagement sessions are more popular than ever with more than half of my couples booking pre-wedding shoots. They usually last between 45 mins to 1 hour depending on how long it takes to walk around the venue/location. I provide 30-50 photos from an engagement shoot in an online gallery. More details can be found here.
